Great food, I got the pre fixe meal for 37$, ordered a glass of wine and my bill came to 47$. Went with three friends and all together our bill came to 166$ which was a great price since drinks and appetizers were ordered. Place was quiet and had an awesome view being we set next to the window. It was also my 21st birthday and they gave me a cute candle on one of my deserts and wrote happy birthday! Would highly recommend!
It was my birthday and I spent my time with my friends. Everything was perfect and amazing, but in the last second our waiter was rude because we asked to split our check.
Everything was perfect from ambiance to the servers, they are very friendly and professional. The only thing I didn’t like was the small portion of food compared to the money I paid. However, it was a good experience there generally. The main reason for me to come there was the view and romantic atmosphere for me and my girlfriend on her birthday
Excellent food, drinks, service and great view! I hadn't been there in a long time, I won't wait that long again!
It was foggy day so we couldn’t see out the window but, the service was great the lobster Mac and cheese was amazing!
Spectacular views and great food!
It was my moms birthday and I really needed that night to be perfect and everything from the table, to the wine, and food was perfection. The table besides us was a bit too loud but other than that this was an incredible experience.
Great food. Great service, and the view was amazing
We took our father for Father’s Day dinner and it was an excellent time! From the food to the very outstanding service! I ordered a mojito with our appetizers and my, it was very refreshing! The dinner was delicious as well!! We will definitely return!! Thank you, Mario, for superb service!!
We had one of the best meals we had in a while on a beautiful day with stunning views of the city and harbor. Great atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed it.
Amazing view! Met with an old friend and we were not rushed so we were able to enjoy the view, food and each other.
It’s all about the view.
My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary to the Top of the Hub. It was nice atmosphere and beautiful views but the food was average and service was average. It was very noisy and you can’t talk feeling it’s a romantic setting but I think it’s because it was earlier as 6pm.. otherwise everyone was nice at the entrance and smiling.
Waiter was very thoughtful in bringing dessert with a message. Inclusive environment and friendly.
Great food, good price. Amazing place for lunch
The service quality, food, setting was all, excellent and made our finally lunch in Boston one to remember. Would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly
Spectacular. We requested a window seat, and as we arrived we were disappointed to see that the clouds were obscuring the view. Thankfully there was some movement and we were able to enjoy seeing at least part of the city from so high. Obviously, we know there’s nothing the restaurant could do to change the weather, but the view is a huge draw. The food was excellent, but pricey—this isn’t an everyday experience, for sure. Service was exceptional.
It was a really nice experience. I’d totally recommend it to anyone. It’s a kind of expensive but it’s worth it.
It was a great experience with very friendly staff, tasty food and unbelievable view on the Chicago buildings.
Very good, service, food, ubicación
Great Service, the waiter was very attentive. Food was great
Food was amazing and the views of the city were amazing!!! Our waitress was so personable and added to our night. Great evening.
The ckam chowder was one of the best I've had in some time. My wife had a perfectly cooked steak and I had a terrific lobster ravioli. We ordered a delicious warm chocolate cake for dessert and since they found out it was my wife's birthday they comped the dessert. The staff never even mentioned it, when I looked at the bill the dessert was comped!! I gotta say, Very classy move Top of the Hub, very classy
This is by far the best restaurant for a spectacular view of Boston. We spent around 100 dollars a person and the 5 course dinner was very well portioned and by the end I did not feel stuffed. We go a window view table (as requested on arrival). We were able to see the sunset which was very beautiful and one of the best I have seen. The food tasted mediocre, the creme brule was very good. Overall a must go for people who visit Boston to explore the city.
It was our first time at the Top of the Hub and it was everything we thought it would be! We made reservations 30 days in advance to make sure we got the time we wanted (7:45pm) and I would HIGHLY recommend you do the same for sunset! We did request a window seat and it face facing north, but still had a gorgeous view of the city and the water, even though we were hoping for more of a sunset view. It was still a FANTASTIC view! The food was phenomenal, highly recommend the raw oysters! Next time we travel to Boston for a special event, we will definitely be making another reservation there!
We had a delicious meal. In the past I would have given 5 stars. This visit, a party of 8, we felt a bit rushed. We ordered our cocktails and our waiter was in a rush to get the apps ordered. With a party of 8 this takes a bit of time. Then he was rushing us for the dinner order. He got an order incorrect and was very apologetic. We told him that it was okay, the guest of honor was fine with it. He insisted she get the correct meal even if she took it home, that I thought was very nice. I think they might have been short staffed that evening. We have usually had a very attentive server, he was going quickly between tables over a large area. The food was delicious the view is a big wow. I would give it a try. It is disappointing to see some guests wearing ratty ultra short cut off jean shorts and ball caps. This restaurant used to have a standard of dress. That seems to have gone by the wayside which is disappointing.
Our party of six included two children with special dietary needs due to food allergies. Our server was very solicitous of their needs, very kind to them, and helpful to all of us.
Great views ...
Service ok... didnt care for all the staff standing around and watching guests
Always a pleasure.
Brunch was delicious and presentation was outstanding. Service was on point. Being in the same service industry it was great to be treated like I was a regular. I will come back the next time in town. I will also recommend to anyone traveling to your town to eat there
Have not been to The Top of the Hub in years. View never gets tiresome. Atmosphere was great! Food was good!
We went to celebrate our anniversary and indicated this in our reservation. It was sad that Top of the Hub didn’t offer champagne or a small dessert to celebrate given how much we paid. Small hole in the wall restaurants even celebrate with you.
Great 35th anniversary celebration with friends... Loved it
This review was for the food primarily. It is clear the draw is for the atmosphere.. I was hoping for a better culinary experience- or at least A culinary experience. We were blessed with a great waiter. You can't beat the view though!
It was a dinner to celebrate my son and his wife moving back to Boston! Family and college friends of theirs had a wonderful evening. Everything was wonderful
Excellent food and drinks. Service is top notch. If you want exquisite dining experience this is the place to dine.
I went here three times in one week and two out of three times it was close to perfect. The lobster risotto was superb - they don’t skimp on the saffron. Lobster roll was good but a little too much mayo for my taste which I fixed with some lemon juice. The poached seafood Cobb salad was unfortunately such a flop because of the overwhelming amount of chopped raw onions. And huge amount of blue cheese, which made it super salty. Maybe a less salty cheese (goat cheese maybe?) and def less onion. I was so disappointed on my last visit but everyone else enjoyed their food.
Amazing view and atmosphere but food was bow average particularly for price point, we waited 45 minutes from ordering to first course arriving but after that service picked up. You go for the view not the food.
The view and sunset were beautiful! Jake our server was slow and seemingly disorganized, we had to look for him several times throughout the meal. We both ordered soup, my lobster bisque was barely warm and overly salted. We ordered the small seafood tower and the amount of oysters, shrimp and lobster were good but we literally got one dinky crab forearm. Not even a full bit for each of us. the lobster mac was outstanding per usual. I asked for my tuna to be blackened and medium rare, it was brought out seasoned but not blackened and it was ice cold in the middle. We also ordered dessert, the lemon blueberry cake was very dry but the creme brulee was great. We also order two drinks each so we spent a fair amount of money. I visit the Top of the Hub several times a year and each time I "dine", I always find myself wishing I had stuck with the lounge. For the price, service and quality of food, you are better off eating somewhere else. Because of the view and live music, it is a great cocktail and app stop.
