The bread is great. The meals were good too although I would say that it's disappointing that the only fish was salmon served with sweet potatoes and asparagus. No sauce or anything particularly interesting about the way it's prepared. The raviolis are great. The chocolate molten cake is good too.
The waiter we had was just not interested is serving people, needs a lot of training. Hate going to an expensive restaurant and get better service at macdonald’s.
Will be our last time.
Used to be great. Now, just average, with really slow service. Bland chicken parm. The salmon was good. Tiramisu, not particularly special.
Some entrees very good, others just so-So. Ravioli is excellent, caprese salad fantastic m, scallops very good. Steak was just average. Deserts are well done
We came for father's day. We made reservations and had to wait 35 mins to be seated. The manager did send charcuterie for the table on them which we appreciated. However, service was tooo slow. We had to wait a long time for food, meat term was wrong, they took it back to make it right though but slow service all around. We ended up being in the restaurant for 3+ hours. With 2 babies the wait was a challenge. Food delicious!
Service took forever. Never came back to fill water and drinks. Some dishes were tiurched others were cold. No reason to go back too many other places in the district.
Excellent food, great service and the ambiance was beautiful!
Excellent service; our server was so sweet and friendly!!!
Food was delicious my only complaint was the added chicken to the Wild Mushroom ravioli was dry and very salty. Without asking our server took it off the bill.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
Father’s Day lunch
The food was very good, but it was very overpriced.
Great food. Slow/poor service
Dined a number of times for lunch and dinner at Tuscan Kitchen Burlington and the food is always excellent. Fresh ingredients, nice presentation. Waitstaff good. Love the butternut squash ravioli salad.
Hostess was not a great first impress
Was seated in the "bar" area instead of the main dining room and the waitress also was the bartender. Her double duties left us for long periods of time without seeing anyone for services including getting water and bread. The bartender also picked up my water glass to refill it and stuck her finger inside the glass to pick it up. The whole experience was awful especially since we were there for a celebration. Will never go back.
We were there for a combined birthday parties - the waitstaff was wonderful and handled the birthday celebrations flawlessly.
Excellent lunch menu, delicious food, prompt & courteous service. Even the bread at the table is fantastic. If you enjoy delicious Italian food, this is top notch.
It was fine restaurant. Food was a bit expensive but it was healthy and good.
If it weren't for the fact that we were sat close to a table that included 5 children under the age of 5 that screamed and yelled almost constantly the entire time we were there, it would have been a great experience.
Overall we were all disappointed with our meals. Salads and dessert were fine. However, main courses were lacking. I ordered Osso Bucco for $42. It was very fatty the risotto was more like regular rice. Not rich and creamy. Seems it wasn’t cooked slowly over time which was maybe the same problem with the two orders of Bolognese. Kind of tasted like soup. You could taste the broth and pieces of carrots. It just so happens we were out the night before and had a delicious Bolognese somewhere else. That Bolognese was thick and covered the noodles. Salmon was ok. Butternut squash pasta was too stuffed making the squash flavor a bit sweet and overwhelming. Without drinks (just 2 glasses of wine) and just one dessert, the bill was $235. Didn’t feel it was worth the money. My daughter made the reservation because she had heard good things about the restaurant. Maybe it was an off night or this location is not up to the others but not willing to find out. Maybe I’ll go for lunch and order the pizza to see if that is worth it.
We sat outside It was awesome, felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and we enjoyed the fresh air. service was a bit slow, but actually that was good, real good. just like in Italy more time to talk and not feel rushed the server Collette was down to earth and really great
We had a wonderful night out for our anniversary! Made a comment that we were celebrating and waiter brought out 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco with strawberries on them! All the food was great! Would definitely recommend
We had a wonderful experience a few years ago so chose it for a special night for a birthday dinner. Couldn’t have been more disappointed! When we arrived, I was asked if it was a special occasion and I said our friend and myself's birthday. He responded with - we will make it special, with a little something extra. We proceed to a table in the back where the temp was 20 degrees colder than the front half of the restaurant. We froze the whole meal. Asked twice if air could be turned down but didn’t happen. Table was so wobbly our wine almost tipped over a few times. On to the waitress- She was on us to the point of ridiculous trying to rush us thru. I guess they’ve been trained to move you out as fast as possible. We politely asked her to give us a few minutes, and then she didn’t appear for 20 minutes to get our orders. Serious pacing problem. Caesar salad was drowning in dressing that tasted like mayonnaise and my husbands chicken parmigiana arrived lukewarm. And in the end, no little birthday treat as the hostess had alluded to. End of visits to Tuscan Kitchen. No wonder there were so many empty tables on a Saturday night!
Really appreciate them having pizza on the menu, it's great.
I ordered the filet mignon. It was a $46 meal. The potatoes were underwhelming. The meat was a huge hard block of beef that wasn't cooked in the middle. I ordered it medium well. Our waiter did not ask if I wanted it butterflied and I forgot to mention it. I showed the waiter and he agreed that it was not prepared correctly. Long story short they made good on it and I plan to visit again. The staff is wonderful.
Tuscan Kitchen offers a wide menu of fresh, well prepared Italian dishes. Servers are well informed and very professional. The setting is beautifully designed and the noise level, even on a busy nights allows for easy conversation during dinner.
It's ok not great and not bad just middle of the road.
Brussel Sprouts were a bit undercooked, but everything else was really good.
Excellent food but service was a bit slow. Very good menu selections
Food was amazing! Service was great! Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner!
Would like to mention that Lucas provided excellent service.
Too expensive for the portion size! Nice ambiance and excellent staff; very welcoming and cheerful!
Pizza is delicious! Staff is wonderful! Nice atmosphere too!
Amazing food and awesome service. Can't wait to go back.
Made a reservation at 7:30 and got sat at 7:50 after people that came after me were sat with a similar party size. Server was nice but not attentive. After another 20 minutes, we finally ordered our food. Food came about 40 minutes after it was ordered. The manager came over and apologized which was nice. Steak came out way too cooked and had to be send back. Paid $36 for THREE scallops. Pricing is ridiculous and the taste doesn't match the price.
Tldr: waited over 1 1/2 for my food and it wasn't great. don't get tricked by how great the restaurant looks.
The food was very good, not outstanding but what we expected on a busy mothers day. However, our waitress was the most outstanding part of our experience. Between fixing our wobbly table which should have been noticed by the management, to replacing a tasteless glass of coke from a faulty soda fountain, to comping my espresso which came out long after dessert was served, to waiting 20 minutes for a glass of wine to be poured—she maintained a professional, friendly and efficient manner. We knew none of these follies were her fault so we maintained a humorous, understanding attitude. True, it was an exceptional busy day, but I’m suspect you did not have enough staff on hand to prevent these mistakes. I noticed reception people were rather frantic. Still, I would visit the restaurant again, perhaps on a normal weekday when things are a bit more controlled.
Mother’s Day. Very disappointed in this trip to Tuscan.
90 mins to get a meal.
Restaurant was crowded and extremely noisy when we arrived. Very hard to have a conversation. Our server was great, although the kitchen was backed up and our entrées did not arrive for over an hour. One of our dinners was extremely spicy. This was not noted on the menu. We had to send it back and our server was very gracious, she agreed to take it off our bill, which we did not expect. Overall food is very good, but pricey. Would prefer to go there again on a quieter day.
Mother’s Day was our first time here. The food was excellent, I had the salmon and my son had the rib eye. It was huge! Portion size was good. Our waiter was very attentive on an extremely busy day. Would highly recommend
Wait staff super friendly and welcoming. Food came out in perfect time. Waiter was knowledgeable of teh menu. Food is excellent ! Filet was cooked perfect.
