Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. Chef Jennie Silk is also making quite an impression on locals as they flock for her impeccable local flavours on the menu.

It’s a great spot with great food but even with booking reservations for weeks we were seated on the patio and it was definitely cold. The only other option was inside right where the door was. I do love it there but was super disappointed with our seating arrangements.

Uli’s is my favorite local restaurant. It’s where we choose to go for all celebrations, to take out of town guests, and for no occasion at all. All our family now ask to go there when we visit. I appreciate the gluten free options, the servers are always so nice, you can’t beat the view, and the food has always been delicious.

The food here is always delicious. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and I can honestly say, I have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and professional and casual and you feel like they really care about your experience. And of course, the location is pretty hard to beat being across the street from the ocean and at the entrance to the white rock pier.

Another outstanding meal at Uli’s. Great service, great food. Our server suggested the special shrimp eggs Benny with pesto and it was delicious. We will be back again!

An Absolutely fabulous time as always!! So good to see so many of our favourite servers and managers again after having moved to another province a few months ago. Uli’s will always feel like a home away from home for us. Great people, amazing food in a fantastic oceanside location! What more could you ask for? ❤️❤️😊😊

Fantastic atmosphere and food. Service is always great. Just a great place to come on the beach. Checks all the boxes for me. From a casual to finer dining it works. This is my go to spot in White Rock.

Little disappointed this time around, my salad greens were extremely wilted and discoloured…we pointed it out to our server after picking them all out and she just kinda laughed, then left the plate at the end of the table with the old lettuce until a different waitress picked it up! No discount or suggestion to make a new one.

My friend and I sat on the heated patio on a beautiful night, it was cozy and warm and quiet enough to have a conversation across the table. We shared 3 appies: lamb skewers, a gorgeous salad and a burrata cheese dish - it was all yummy! The server was exceptional; she made great recommendations, constantly checking in on us, and she had a fantastic personality. I haven’t been to Uli’s for years and this visit was by far the best.

Fantastic menu so DON'T CHANGE OR MODIFY IT! Was great reading normal menu item descriptions without the typically weird, over spiced, over exhalted language! The spaetzle was DEEEEE-licious! Kalamari sooo good. We'd love to share a schnitzel entree after we have a couple of starters AND salads. The orange vinaigrette was so lovely!

The service was absolutely excellent - the friendliest wait staff and some very yummy comfort food on a cold, rainy day. Great music too (Van Morrison!). All in all it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

I love Ulis both unfortunately this time the bison carpaccio was just full of onions and greens (just a couple of thin bison slices) The burger excellent as always but the order took almost 50 minutes to be served. Good service form the waitress, bad welcome host. Patio heater was too hot, so they kept turning it off until it was too cold.

Brought my friend here for her birthday dinner and it was so good! I’m recently gluten free and knew they had options available which was a big reason I chose Uli’s. We shared the burrata feature to start and it was AMAZING! It was so light and the flavours were delicious. Loved that they had gluten free crostinis as well! We both got burgers (2.0 & 4.0) and they were delicious, so were the fries! They were perfectly seasoned and insanely good. Service was excellent, and appreciated him checking with me to see if I was celiac. My friend also has a severe peanut allergy which was also taken seriously and that’s always a relief. I personally didn’t love the table we were sat at but that’s really my only criticism. We will definitely be back, need more burrata & fries!

We have been going there for years and the food has always been exceptional. The appetizer was good the entrees tuna was way over cooked The rice was medium warm. The asparagus was also over cooked. Unfortunate

Went to Uli's as recommended by a coworker for our 21st anniversary. It was good, although not what we expected, but still good. Food was good and fast, the Calamari was outstanding and arrived within minutes of ordering and we were hungry so that was awesome. Our waiter was great, very attentive, filled my water at least 3 times which is a big one for me, and refilled my soda twice. We thought it was Italian cuisine when it wad recommended, German ended up being the reality, and that was ok. I made my reservation online and we arrived 30 minutes early and they sat us anyhow.

The restaurant was recommended By Donnas B&B and we couldn’t agree more. Everyone that we interacted with was very professional and friendly. Also, the food was delicious and the variety of beer was great. We highly recommend Uli’s. You will not be dissapointed!

The food was exquisite. The burgers, in particular, were in a league of their own with layers of masterfully selected flavors. The calamari was an absolute delight—nothing like anything I’ve ever had, and you definitely want to try it! The staff was very professional and friendly. In fact, they made us feel like we were having a meal at home amongst family and friends with their cheerful smiles and delightful repartee. It was my first time at Uli’s, and it was for my birthday. It’s definitely not going to be the last!

We found the quality of food didn’t reflect the high prices ! I had the mussels and clams and it was a small order for $27!!! The clams and mussels were extremely small ! The Cobb Salad was the smallest Cobb Salad I ever had for $22! Our friends had the Charcuterie Board and weren’t impressed with it either ! We had the soup which was ok ! Sorry I usually don’t like complaining but it was just one order ! Cocktails were good ! Thx 🙏
