Our server was very attentive and very prompt, and he was great with giving us recommendations and knowing the menu well. Our food and drinks came out quickly and was sooooooo good. I’d only recommend going for the chocolate piñata! Bad/extremely slow service. Had reservations for 6pm, they sat us early which was great. Was there for 2.5 hours for 2 kids meals, chicken quesadillas and fish tacos. We did pre-order the dessert so we weren’t waiting on that.

I understand that this is a Tex-Mex restaurant but the food was dry. The rice was dry and salty with no flavor. Beans had no cilantro or cooked onions and very salty. I ate Pechuga and supposedly the chicken was to be very soft and juicy. I found it to be chewy and not flavorful or juicy. We had 2 waitors, like actual waiters when there should have been 1 waiter and a helper. The waiters took so long to get the ticket to us and we found out that one of them was arguing with the other about taking customers away from him. What the hell was that all about. I was not impressed at all. It was very expensive for the food we ordered. But because my son and daughter in law got married and they decided to celebrate there I just paid the 300.00 for 8 adults and 2 kids. So I don't think I'll be back to Uncle Julios.

I have been a patron of Julio's on Lemmon Avenue for years. The food, service, drinks, and atmosphere are always the best. They have done away with the call ahead, put yourself in the line feature, but the online reservation option was very easy to use.

DO NOT GO HERE If you have more then 8 people they will NOT sit you together. I made reservation for 14 so 14 could sit together. They set up two tables of 7 behind each other. That’s not how it works. When I reserve 14 I should get 14. Plus they were 15 min late setting us as well. Service was so bad we went to the bar and got drinks ourselves. Food was only good thing about the whole night.

Food was great but had an issue with manager at this place. We had called in advance to make a reservation for a large group. Manager would not place us on our table. She wanted us to sit split apart. If sitting large groups was an issue I would have greatly appreciated being told in advance. We noticed there were other large groups that were already seated. She was unprofessional when approaching us at all times. Recommendation for the upper management is to change management because she ruined the night to where people even left so we could be seated.

We recently went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at Uncle Julios and our experience was not a good one. The service was great but the food was horrible. We didn’t wait long to get our food but when it came out the 2 orders of fajitas we ordered and the shrimp tacos where very cold. The waitress offered to take it back and get us a new ones, which we did. I can understand if it’s one entree but all of them being cold is bad. Hope they better their food soon.

I always enjoy Uncle Julios. Dependable food and service. Fun, casual vibe. It’s been one of my favorites for Tex-Mex for many years.

The food was not cold but it was not hot so it could’ve been warmer. The service was not good the waiter wasn’t friendly and didn’t come check on us. I had a party of 15 but they said they could only fit a party of 12 although my guest came late they said they would only sit us when all 15arrived and would only wait 10mins when most restaurants consider half of the party to sit the table. The drinks were ok but too expensive not to get a little buzz. Menu also sucks and needs to specify what items are serviced cold. When a guest complained about the food/service, waiter went to kitchen manager; who was very combative and defensive and not the actual restaurant manager

Food and drinks were excellent. Made reservations and seated immediately. Service was very slow and inattentive. Somewhat expected given the venue but this was just exceptionally slow.

It was my birthday dinner did reservation and still had to wait....small parking lot took 10 mins to party this was a ridiculous experience.

We have been eating at the Lemmon Street location for more than 15 years. Last night was the worst experience ever. It took over an hour to get our order The restaurant manager didn't really seem to care and told the table next to us that they may want to go somewhere else! I think we need to find another favorite restaurant when we visit Dallas.

Rice was a bit dry for most guests. Waitress walked by several times and we were waiting. Food was good for must but some dry.
