Urban Farmer- Philadelphia
Our menu emphasizes the pride of locally sourced ingredients and authentic, straightforward preparations. Butcher’s cuts of heritage-bred beef take the spotlight, with grass-fed, grain-finished and corn-fed varieties available, while our poultry and seafood are also thoughtfully selected.
Our rustic pantry is stocked with house-made, preserved and pickled local produce which offers a homespun counterpoint to the refined ambiance. Our chefs build personal relationships with local farms, ranches and fisheries, bringing a taste of their dedication to the table and reaffirming the direct connection between land and plate. Beverage offerings reflect the variety of neighboring breweries, cocktails made with local craft spirits and a carefully curated wine program to complement the region.

The server greeted us with a discouraging comment about our choosing to dine outside. She clearly didn’t want to work outdoors. There was no sun but the weather was fair. Most importantly, during COVID people should be able to choose the outdoor seating option with full support by the waitstaff. The service only continued to be lackluster after that.
This was our first time at Urban Farmer. It was Easter and we were had reservations. The host sat us immediately with a smile. The atmosphere in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food was terrific and the bellinis were great too. Our server was efficient and took very good care of us. The value was excellent. We would definitely dine again. A great Philly experience.
Farmerosa cocktail was awesome!
The lobster and avocado Benedict was amazing!!!
It used to be a solid experience, however, it can’t maintain standards now at it’s price point. Very unfortunate...
Everything was delicious. Will be thinking about our family dinner for a long time.
Great food wonderful service. The signature cocktails are delicious and creative! Love the chicken and the salmon, no need to go with the steak which is obviously what they are known for. Also great spot for brunch
We stayed at the hotel for one week. Had great room service. The one night we ventured out of room to eat in dining room, after confirming spaced tables due to covid, we were seated very close to a party of 7, even though it was stated only parties of 4. When I asked for another table, the staff stated that the table was my only choice. Very disappointing. We left and ordered room service. Very sad
Everything was amazing!!! We had the steak sampler and added the wagyu. Potatoes were our favorite side dish, but the mac n cheese and mushrooms were great too! French onion soup and charcuterie board were good appetizers. We were too full for dessert. Would definitely reccommend!
We had a great Sunday brunch outside on the Parkway. Their homemade English muffins are fantastic
I am looking forward to returning in the near future
the sides were very good mushrooms were out of this world carrots excellent the steaks we ordered cooked to perfection and the dessert was to die for the only thing better was the service our server's name was Drew
Loved the upscale cuisine and laid back atmosphere.
Less food options due to COVID!
This place was a different and unique setting. We enjoyed it for a one time experience.
We had a great brunch at Urban Farmer this past weekend! I hadn’t been here in over a year and although I was excited to be back I was so sad to see a much smaller brunch menu than in the past. I’m sure it’s just due to covid, but I was looking forward to getting the shrimp and grits (not currently offered)! The food was great and the portions are large. We were disappointed that the sweet breakfast options such as the pancakes and the waffles did not come with any type of side. We all ended up ordering individual egg entrees that came with bacon & potatoes and then an order of the waffles to share. It’s somewhat rare to find a brunch spot these days that doesn’t offer a breakfast meat with pancakes, waffles, etc. especially at this price point. I hope to see more options back on the brunch menu soon! My Bloody Mary drink was a bit plain, but still good. Our server was amazing, he was super personable and we loved chatting with him. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back again!
Urban Farmer was the perfect date night!~ The decor is beautiful. The setting inside the hotel is perfect as well. We got mojitos (delicious) at the bar and sat on a couch near the lobby, then the hostess called my cell when our table was ready. Our server brought us water and took our order. Food came out at a decent pace and everything was delicious! Our waiter gave us time before we ordered and got our dessert. We never felt rushed. It was a cozy spot for some date night PDA with my hubby. Would love to come for their brunch sometime!
Date night for my husband and I. We enjoyed ourselves
Lovely... they won in service… Whole experience was yummy
The service was good, nice, attentive server. The food was overly salty. I got the Steak Frites. The cheesecake was pretty dry and unappetizing. All in all ok, but I wouldn’t go back.
Nice ambiance and plenty of space. Server was attentive. Every food dish was over-salted from the fries to the macaroni and cheese to the Caesar salad. Salad also over dressed.
The crab omelette is a little subpar, kinda greasy at least to my taste. However the steak hash and lobster Benny are pretty decent. Service was a bit slow and it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. Not sure why brunch food would take this long.
We have been there for my birthday, returned after a very nice experience a year before. This time we were not that thrilled, the food was good but I had much better the year before. I ordered a 24oz. 30 days aged 1855 beef ribeye, but it was not extraordinary in taste, nor quality. The waiter spilled my double espresso on the saucer, and served it anyway instead of bringing a new one. I am not sure if the lack in quality/service was caused by the COVID restrictions imposed on the restaurant industry, I know they are hurting a lot. That does not mean the customers need to suffer too. This visit was not bad, but not too good either, just o.k.
Went here for brunch with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and it was quite delightful! Ambiance is upscale with a rustic, farmer flair. Lots of artwork with modern decor. Service was quick, accommodating, and very genuine. The food was pretty tasty. My boyfriend had steak-frites and the steak was super juicy. I had gotten their waffle with vanilla/honey yogurt and cookie crumble with a side of eggs, chicken cherry sausage (yum!) and potatoes. I ate it all! Prices are fair, most dishes are are under $20, some can run you up to $70ish (obviously bigger meals like certain meats and whatnot). It’s a beautiful place to go to if you’re feeling fancy or wouldn’t mind a bit of a splurge! Treat yourself to their drinks!
Great staff, very accomodating. food taste great. Good cocktails
Really great food and cute decor! The cocktails were great as well!
The food was great. Quality service. I’ll be back.
Perfect night out with our adult kids.. spaced apart and staff was fabulous!
Overall a good dining experience as far as the food went. We took our two children (ages 9 and 13) and we immediately felt judged as 'that couple with kids'. The server seemed very disinterested in us and never even introduced herself. She was always in a hurry to not be at our table (and it wasn't that busy), several times we had more to ask or order and she walked away before we could get it out...The time between ordering drinks and apps and when the apps actually came was very slow. We still tipped 20%, but would have gone to 30 or 40 if we felt like we were wanted there. The food was great, but I would most likely not return, even without kids, as the service should be the same no matter what, especially when you are charging $50-70 for a steak
Delicious food, beautiful space, and Covid safe
Great service and food was as good as ever. Staff goes above and beyond. Clean as a whistle too
Best bacon and English muffin I have ever had. Rest of the food was great too.
Food was delicious, fresh and unique. The service was super and it felt very “safe” with all the covid precautions.
Birthday! It was fantastic!
Great experience as usual.
Celebrating birthday. Restaurant did not acknowledge even though it was in the reservation. Food was excellent as always and the service was good. Despite the oversight, we will return
It was a nice experience, but the food was not as good as expected nor presentation was unique.
Steak was not cooked properly. Oysters were amazing
Took the wife there for Valentine’s Day! The service was great! The health and Covid protection was great! Food was absolutely amazing
We tried to make reservation for valentine's day dinner but they were booked so we did, what we thought was lunch, but it turned out to be brunch. We both ordered steak. It was DELICIOUS!!!! the only bad part was that they didn't offer any variety in sides. We had to have fries with it. My husband liked them but I thought they were cooked too hard. The dessert was DELICIOUS!!! as well. We had the Butterscotch Sundae. Our waiter, Devon, was wonderful. Funny side note: I picked this place randomly not realizing this was the same Hilton Hotel where my husband proposed to me a year before. LOL
