   My office is next door and we always enjoy Urban Farmer for a "small" business lunch. I tried to bring 10 colleagues in one day last week and they wanted me to have a "banquet" - sign a contract with a fixed menu. We went somewhere else - it was "just lunch" with some colleagues. I do think that the menu offered more choices before COVID. That said, I have never had a bad meal there. They are accommodating and respect your time during the lunch hour.

   Perhaps it was an off day, or maybe lunch is not the best time to visit, but we had high expectations and they were dashed. The food was, at best, mediocre and the service, while "friendly," was inattentive once the orders were taken.

   Birthday, the restaurant staff was amazing and super accommodating. I think that going for brunch would yield a better experience with the food, although the meal was good.

   I've eaten at this location multiple times but tonight was the worst food experience I've ever encountered with them. Three overcooked steaks. Flavorless sides. Above optimal temp bottle of wine. The only redeeming thing of my meal was the espresso martini.

   Love Urban Farmer! Met a old friend Brian ;;) who is doing a fine job managing the fine establishment. Also want to recognize Hannah for always helping me with reservations and larger group dinners. You all do a wonderful job work service delivery and superior quality in food and drinks!     Inside of the hotel. Food was bland. Pork chop lacked seasoning. Only the broccolini was good. The "candied bacon" was not candied at all & it was tough. Server wasn't attentive, was very lackluster when taking the order, felt like they didn't want to be there.

    Excellent dining experience that was taken next level with Executive Chef Sonny giving us the VIP treatment! Everything was top notch from the fresh charcuterie board of meats and cheeses to the steak tastings of 4 types of beef origins/seasonings/ages. My favorites were the Waygu and the Prime which had melt in your mouth flavor! Highly recommend Urban Farmer!

    I have to say the first time I went to the Urban Farmer, I thought it was overpriced and just OK. I gave it a second shot and actually seems to have gotten worse. The service was not great. Our server was somewhat friendly, but blunt. She didn’t check in with questions of; How was your meal ,did everything come out OK etc. And it wasn’t crazy busy. The food was not good for the value. It IIt just wasn’t good, period. I do believe even if it isn’t great Impeccable service helps. And we didn’t get that. I mentioned this to the hostess ~ we’ll see if there’s any follow up. Save your money and go to The Love.

    A lovely and conveniently located spot. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated, but the food took forever. The manager (who was very friendly and professional) gave us what seemed to be tiny unbaked cheesecakes as a holdover, which was a kind gesture, but lacking a bit, considering the price of the food and beverages.

    Wow - we were so impressed. The vibe/decor was incredible. The service was perfect - not too overbearing but attentive. The steak sampling was exactly what we wanted. Our favorite was the cornbread - wow - and we loved the mushroom side dish.

    Rude host. After many visits saw him turn multiple families away (esp families of color) despite the restaurant being more than half empty. In this specific case our reservation was at 9am, food served 950am. Otherwise good food and a great location.

    Reeeee Review! So I was contacted and asked to give them a second chance! I obliged and I am glad I did. The service was impeccable, (i still loved the host Jess) and the drinks were still delicious (I loved my pomegranate lemon drop) and Farmer 4. This time I had the 8oz grain-finished filet medium plus. It was delicious and tender. The caesar salad was fresh (the croutons were addictive) and the fingerlings with the balsamic were even better the next day. The desserts were sweet but balanced. Our server Sara recommended the butterscotch sundae and I’m so glad she did it was one of the best things I’ve eaten. All in all I’m so happy I went back. I’ll be a frequent customer now! Can’t wait to see what I try next:) Original…. Ok so I wanted to love this place! But unfortunately the food was not worth the price. The drinks were delicious but the oysters (5 for $21) tasted like they were frozen from Valentine’s day, the $58 aged filet tasted like the most basic filet I’ve ever tried and the sides (broccolini and potato bake) were not seasoned, had poor texture and just wasn’t up to par with the many steakhouses I’ve dined at in this city. The service was just ok and presented more like a burger place than a restaurant for $100+ a plate. I was so excited to try this place and was very disappointed. The host and cocktails were the only two reasons I wasn’t complaining.

    Ambiance was great, service was good although it took a while for the her to stop at our table for the first time. Drinks and cheese board were fantastic. My husband’s steak was over cooked and she offered to have a new one made but we had a show to get to. My halibut had a very odd, bitter crust that made parts of it inedible. The server offered us a free dessert since the meal was underwhelming/not cooked correctly, but again we didn’t have time to stay. So she gave us two macarons to take with us. For such an expensive meal I wish they had offered to do a little more when it wasn’t to our liking.

    Steak sampler is a must. Such an interesting concept and great for steak lovers who can’t decide what cut they want for that moment in time. We had it to split between 2 but it is more than enough for 4.

    My daughter had the steak frites & was THRILLED with how steak was cooked. Ultra rare. Most chefs refuse to serve steaks that rare however she loves it that way. Thank you! Enjoyed the Moscow mule however it should have been served in a copper mug not a glass.
