Always a good meal, service & atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants
Delicious food, attentive service without hovering, incredibly professional and polite staff. Love it, 2nd visit
Great service, food—overall solid experience! As always.
As always, Andrew made it a perfect evening (along with our bow tie friend who referred to us as "taking care of my people" :-) ). Love this place!
My first experience at Valenza is the reason for going a second time. (Great atmosphere, servers, great wine, salad and fish dish) I insisted on my newly discovered restaurant to my girlfriends however it wasn’t the experience that it was on my first visit. Our server was curt, not attentive and unavailable. I had hoped all the servers would be as friendly as our first time there, making menu and wine suggestions but this guy was definitely having a bad night. Although we were all satisfied with our meal, our group of 6 will not be returning to Valenza.
Everything was fabulous as usual. I only wish they would be better prepared when offering specials which they were not. Usually it’s just about perfect.
Took friends for the lobster risotto which was fabulous when they had it a few years ago. We were all disappointed as it did not come close to what we had in the past. The lobster was very tough and small with a small portion of not very good risotto. I noticed that four of us were struggling to cut the lobster. Also the seasonings were not good. Hard to be consistent.
Veal was incredible
All of it made better by Joe Grandsen and his talented piano man—what a pleasure!
AS always the best night of the week for us is when we dine at Valenza!!
Always amazing service and ambiance. Never been where we've had anything less than stellar for the entire experience. The vibe is both romantic and chic and upbeat. Good for intimate dates and groups. Amazing outside seating for when warmer. Extremely knowledgable on wine and spirits. Amazing food!
Been going to Valenza now since it opened and it only gets better. Most restaurants slow down first week of January but not case for Valenza. Place was packed. Food was great. Had the seafood pasta in squid ink. Incredible. This is go to favorite neighborhood place.
We went to this restaurant which is located in our neighborhood. We chose to go there because we love their pizza restaurant next door. We went to celebrate our daughter who’s in college getting all As. Well, we felt unwelcome and rushed. I’m not sure if it was the fact that we had on jeans or the color of our skin. The waiter was not rude but he rushed us out. He emptied mussels shells in the bread dish that my husband was still eating and didn’t replace the bread. I ordered a dessert after he gave us our check and he brought me the dessert in a to go box, took my cash and never returned to see if I wanted change being that I gave him $95 on a $66 check. As we were leaving, we heard him ask another table if they’d like to see a dessert menu... odd that he never offered that to us. Safe to say, I will not return to this establishment.
Service was excellent as always. A go to destination for special events and business dinners.
the ambience and food was great (it had been couple of years since I had dined there). Service was SO horrible (on the Thursday night after New Years Eve so the restaurant was totally dead). So our server wasn't slammed...he was RUDE RUDE RUDE....we all really do like the owner of this restaurant and enjoy his other restaurants....we were astounded by how downright rude our server was - kind of spoiled the great flavor of the food.
Granted, it was new years eve, however.... Staff was friendly, attractive restaurant. Noisy, but not to the point where you couldn't talk. Drinks - their specialty drinks were close to gouging prices, the rest were a bit above average. Food - nothing I would tell a friend they have to try. Portions were on the small side, especially for Italian food. Ingredients were fresh. $35 for a "special" ravioli dish was out of bounds. You decide: Two people: 2 specialty drinks, 1 small salad, water, 2 ravioli dishes, 1 dessert = $115 (w/tip). That's even splitting several items and no Coke, tea, etc, with dinner. For that kind of cash I prefer the Chop House. Owned by the same group, but the values are pretty wide. Again, you decide.
One of our absolute favorites! The Orecchiette is one of the best dishes in Atlanta!
My partner and I go to this restaurant for our birthdays every year. Valenza never disappoints! Amazing food and service.
Excellent food!! Our server was fantastic!! Well done!!
Love this restaurant!
If you need a new place to go for date night, this place is a wonderful fit! Our waitress Gabi was brilliant and very patient. She gave us descriptive information about the dishes we were interested in and she was knowledgeable about the wine list. I truly appreciated her efforts:)
Terrific! Good service, delicious food.
AS ALWAYS, we had an outstanding evening from start to finish! Anthony (who was our Valenza "ambassador") was fantastic...he allowed us to take our time ordering our meal at a leisurely pace as the evening went along and ended it with a complimentary Bday dessert and song! We were hosting our brother and sister-in-law for his birthday celebration and they were so impressed they asked if they could make it their special place also. Thank you to the entire team for making it a wonderful evening for all.
Food and Service are really great! I definitely will go back!
My two siblings, spouses, husband and I have a hard time finding a restaurant where we can talk, eat great food and hear each other but Valenza met all of our criteria with flying colors! Thank you....we will return.
First time we visit Valenza Restaurant and it did not disappoint. Went for our wedding anniversary and had a very good time. Live jazz, food was amazing. Our waiter recommended one of the specials and got a delicious pork chop. My husband got the scallops, which I think were really good because he did not share with me.
One of our entrees was ordered incorrectly by the server. While she and the manager acknowledged the mistake, there was no adjustment to my friend’s bill (or any other service recovery gesture) even though she didn’t receive her entree until the rest of us were almost finished. Additionally our server often seemed hurried and left the table when one of us was trying to place an order or ask a question. Overall did not feel like the fine dining experience we expected when we selected this venue for celebrating numerous special occasions.
Our favorite Italian spot.
Always a hit with us, we ordered the Pappardelle split for the two of us with a salad and it did not disappoint. We ordered our Comos "not sweet" and it was too strong but no attitude from the bartender, he provided a slice of lime and some cranberry and we doctored them ourselves. No worries! We love this place and will be back.
Service and food were fabulous. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed by all!
This was our second time at Valenza. The food is great, however, my order was wrong when it arrived. The staff was very kind and assured us they would take care of the problem. We were on our way to a show and, therefore, had a time limit . When my entrée finally arrived it was delicious but I did not have enough time to enjoy it.
They brought over a complimentary dessert which I could not eat due to dietary restrictions. It would have been nice if they had taken my entrée off the bill.
Food was fantastic! Service was mediocre but perhaps she was having a bad night.
We had a delicious meal and the service was great! We were meeting a friend for lunch who had not been and she loved it. Love the renovation they did and it is a great place for either dated night or business lunch!
Very good service and yum food as usual. Nice b day dinner.
My sister and I dined here and thought it was pretty good. Her meal of caesar salad and pasta (oreciette ?) was better than mine. I had the mussels and a couple of them tasted a little strange but the cooking sauce was divine. There were 3 large pieces of toasted bread to dip into the sauce.
I had the fish of the day (sea bass) on a bed of roasted veggies. The sea bass was dry and chewy and seriously had to ask my waiter if he had served me a chicken breast instead of fish!
The staff was very attentive and polite, The restaurant is attractive. The noise level was acceptable. And I forgot that the desserts were quite good. I had a apple & pear tart with caramel ice cream (perfect) and my sister had the molten chocolate cake with cream (she added that caramel ice cream to hers as well - good idea).
Everything was great. The back room was a little cold.
Service not so great lately- food quay varies a lot these days too- bummer
Ok service and food
We'll go back there. Food was excellent!
