Food and cocktails were amazing. We had the tuna tataki, rock shrimp and black cod and all were outstanding. Also had grapefruit on ice, mango martini and old fashioned-all delicious. Service was ok-wait staff not very attentive but fine. Had to ask for menus and additional drinks. Celebrating 50th bday and dessert was an after thought-we received after we had paid the check. It was a Monday so the restaurant was not crowded, hence not noisy. Our waiter was very attentive and told us a great deal about the food selection. Both dishes were delicious, and my guest from Manhattan was very impressed. I live about 25 minutes away and it was well worth the drive. More

Had a reservation for 7, didn’t realize it was for indoor only. Noise level inside was at a shouting level in order to hear and to be heard. Thankfully the host staff was able to reseat my party outside once several tables were cleared and with minimal wait time. Outside next to the Potomac is definitely the way to go when dining here. Wait staff was very courteous and timely, the food was tasty, well presented, and delivered in well timed stages. More

Discover Washington, D.C.

An international city with the food chops to show for it, Washington D.C. is brimming with new restaurants, coffee houses and spirited bars. And, while tablecloth dining has it’s place here (diplomats gotta eat), so does the casual yet delicious lunch spot (interns gotta eat, too). Near the Capitol, historic eateries and classic menus are favored by many. Excellent Filipino food can be found in Columbia Heights. Near Georgetown, upscale bistros and farm-to-table spots are the order of the day, and Adams Morgan is home to many international restaurants and locally owned cafes.
