Chris our server was amazing! I accidentally left my cell phone on the table when we left and he ran out and found me to return it. That certainly is above and beyond what is expected. The food was very good. We had crab and salmon cakes as appetizer which were delish. Caesar salad and short ribs were awesome and there was flexibility to change up the sides

We go here for all our special occasions. Most the time the Service is ok and food is great. However we took my husband here for Father’s Day and it wasn’t super busy surprisingly. I know on holidays usually have to wait a little longer for your food or appetizers were great however our food took forever to come out and we waited for over an hour and we kind of asked about our food. and she check on it a few times. However the table that showed up next to us had their food 15 min into them being there. Our food came out and the steak was well done even though we ordered a medium and it was completely cold like somebody had left it back there and forgot Our server was very nice and apologetic and nothing less then professional but it was just very disappointing they did give us $10 off of our $150 bill but it was just the fact that it was very poor quality considering we always have a good dinner here. However I think in the future this situation could be handled better. Because dropping dinner on two people for that much isn’t the cheapest.

Ate outside on Father's Day and was very lovely. I had the wedge salad for the first time and thought it was excellent and quite original. My son had the bruschetta; my husband had the wild river salad -both said their appetizers were great. They both had the salmon and thought it was outstanding. I had the double pork chop and was pleased with everything except the sauce, which I did not care for. The portions were extremely generous. Service was pretty much perfect; the singer/guitar player was excellent and fun. Thanks for making my husband's Father's Day so nice!

Wild river is always an enjoyable dining experience. We were celebrating a recent promotion and they did not disappoint. The seafood risotto was amazing and the chicken piccata was enjoyed by my girlfriend.

This is the 2nd time our experience has been mediocre. The waiter was not trained —didn’t know what the house was was, didn’t know the type of sliders that were being offered. We had ordered a second glass of wine, but he didn’t bring it and when we later motioned for him to stop by the table he asked if we still wanted the wine. When he brought the bill, he never came back to take our payment— we had to go up to the bar to give it to the bartender. This restaurant is a huge disappointment.

Busy night. There were 4 of us… entrees for the 4 of us all different, and all were burned black, dry, tough, so disappointed. The waitress was awesome and tried to make up for it by getting slight reduction in charges. The Brussels sprouts were charred and raw/tough. Mashed red potatoes were tasty. Salads and soup good. Long long wait to get the food. Very disappointed.

In town for a wedding, my husband and I both had a light Sunday supper of onion soup and salad. He had the Wild River Salad and I had the House Wedge Salad. The soup was very flavorful and not too salty as some onion soup can be. Both salads were yummy-fresh and properly dressed. The corner room we were in had a nice view of the Riverwalk.

We loved our first dinner there, we went back a second time during our 72 hours in Reno. The trout was perfection, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the presentation and plating was excellent. Nice choice of wines and lovely sitting outside with the fresh air, plenty of room around the tables and a nice breeze. Thank you for two very special dinners!

I had taken my niece here for lunch when she came to town for a visit. We enjoyed the lunch very much! I especially liked the Tropical Tuna Tartare (my favorite) and the Seared Pork Belly. I had the Wild River Salad with the Sautéed shrimp. Everything was delicious! It was so good that my husband and I went to enjoy a dinner celebrating our 15th anniversary yesterday. The Tropical Tuna Tartare was delicious again. However, I noticed that the portion was smaller (much less tuna) than when it was served at my lunch. The seared pork belly was a good value, though; the portions were more generous. My husband enjoyed the rack of lamb and I enjoyed the ribeye. We are very impressed with the Wild River Grille. So much so that I will be taking my friend and her husband for dinner there soon to celebrate a belated birthday.

Came here for a 9:15 dinner after a show. Restaurant was mostly empty but we were not rushed at all. Been here a few times and the food is constantly good. The standouts this time were the crab/salmon cakes and the short ribs. We did a seared scallops add on with the short ribs, kinda pricey at $15 for 2 but they were cooked perfectly. Would do the same again. Also a great place to eat outside if the weather is nice. Service was outstanding as usual.

Ordered scallops and cheese board as appetizers, scallops were a little under cooked and cheese board quality was not what it was in the past. Ordered the New York medium rare and came out medium well also the Mahi Mahi was a little over cooked and the asparagus was woody Our server was excellent and did his best to compensate us for the food issues

We had the special and it was amazing!! Bacon wrapped top sirloin with pesto, and mash potatoes and asparagus. Staff at the front were very nice and our waiter was great, when we told him we wanted 2 of the specials he knew there was only 2 left so he ran to back to make sure we got those last two. 👍 All the staff was very attentive to our table with coming to pick up our empty plates. Which I like.

Appetizers great . Had seared scallops & pork belly. These were great. Ordered med.rare steak.WOW overcooked..sent it back..2nd steak EVEN WORSE. Waitress comped my meal but what chef cant do a medium rare steak? Wife had short ribs. This was on the dry side. It was my wifes Bday so the the screwed up meals took an edge off the experience.
