N. Y. Sirloin Steak
The place itself is very nice. Appetizers and food came out way too close. We were still eating our apps when our dinner came out. The steak and drinks were good. Service was subpar. One major problem was the gnats and flies.
Just OK. Not really worth the $. Was expecting more. Filet mignon had to go back as they were not cooked correctly. Onion soup didnt have enough salt & was lacking taste. Service was spotty. Either they were very diligent or MIA. Took me 20 mins to get the attention of a waiter to get me the check. Capital Grill is so much better all around and a better value at this price Pt. Also dress code is not enforced. Many of the ppl were dressed like either they were going food shopping or "walking the streets". Not appropriate for a restaurant of this caliber. Will not be returning.
16 oz filet and salmon were outstanding. Great cocktails too.
Good steak and food
Excellent meal! Everything was the highest quality and I am stunned it was not packed!
Can not say enough good things about this evening. Managed to “bag the elephant” relative to seating. The “bosses table” and evening went up from there. The GM, Milot and his entire staff could not have made the dining experience more pleasurable. Our wait staff headed by Billy J. was superb. An Antonor white was unavailable , however he found a better Antonori white for a promised same price. This location typifies what Wolfgang attained as a “fine steak house experience. Thank you and see you again soon.
Great Service. Great Food. A bit pricey, but worth it.
No longer have to travel into NYC for excellent steaks. Always well received and enjoying going to our favorite in NJ. My wife enjoyed the superb Dover Sole while I enjoyed the porter house .
Had a ribeye steak and it was mediocre at best. Had way better and tastier at Ruth Chris and as a matter of fact Outback and Texas Road House. Will not go back.
Excellent service, food and overall experience.
I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. Been here before and the fish my wife had was not very good, ordered steak fries, they were oily and seemed like frozen fries. For the price I was expecting more as I have been here before and it was not as good as the other times. Don't think I will return.
Billy and the other servers were outstanding. My guests were blown away with the experience.
I was excited to take my wife out for her birthday and we wanted to do something special. We chose to go to Wolfgang because it has a reputation as more upscale. Overall the ambiance was nice; the hostess and wait staff were professional; the food came out in a timely manner. The reason for only rating this 1 star is because of the quality of the food. We ordered one appetizer and the special for the day which was a dry-aged tomahawk steak cooked medium-rare. The appetizer was mediocre and the steak didn't have much flavor to it. At the price point they are asking I would never recommend this restaurant.
It was fine. Don't think the filet I received was as good as I was expecting.
Great food and great service. Definitely would recommend and would eat here again
Wolfgang's Steakhouse was a good choice for my daughter's birthday. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the filet mignon medallions with mashed potatoes. My daughter had the steak salad which she really loved. We will be returning for another family event.
The best prime dry age steak great variety of seafood the best service beautiful ambience
perfect lobster , martini , and oysters. expensive. nice outdoor seating.
Wolfgang’s is amazing. The porterhouse for two and all the sides were awesomely delicious. The waitstaff was truly a pleasure. Arber and Niti were two of the best waiters we’ve ever encountered. Those two are the best!!!
Another enjoyable evening, even though there were a few misses. When I spend upwards of $500 for dinner my "bar" in terms of food and service are expectedly high. So when the waitstaff are over bearing and redundant (don't these guys talk to each other?) or refer to me and my guests as "you guys" I am a bit disappointed.
The food was delicious, although my $115 Cajun tomahawk lacked any Cajun seasoning. It was properly "Pittsburgh" as I requested it. It was enough to feed two or three people, although when when ordering I asked one of the waiters who suggested otherwise. Guess I "got sold".
My wife's Filet Mignon and son's Strip were also properly prepared and they tell me quite delicious.
The creamed spinach and onion rings are fresh and not to be missed.
Last gripe: my wine selection was a family favorite Zinfandel and as typical with steakhouses a pricey selection. It was sold out (or they wanted to sell something). Their recommended substitution was the same varietal and price but hardly as good. Guess I again "got sold".
For a special occasion this is a good choice, and we will return.
Great as always. The food. Attentive staff
Most of the meal was good but it was not worth the money. At a steakhouse, especially of this caliber, there is no reason why only the very center of a filet mignon should be the temperature that was requested while the rest of the steak was over done.
Our waiter was okay but not very attentive especially at the end. We were clearly done with our dessert for a while and there was nothing said to us. We had to call him over for the check.
The dress code also seemed a bit lax for for a restaurant with such high prices. There was someone there wearing cargo shorts and a t-shirt.
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I definitely wouldn’t go back as I’ve had better meals at lower echelon restaurants.
This location has plenty of parking and inside the restaurant the Bar area is large and plenty of dining tables. the Apps are amazing and the steak are fantastic.
As always great food. Our server wasn’t the best but we had a terrific meal.
My reservation was for 6:45 I arrived 6:50 was immediately seated however my food didn’t come out until. 8:03pm after complained 2 times and asking for a manager which never came to speak with us not only did I wait over a hour for my porter house steak I asked for it to be well done when it came out it was pink so I had to send it back the waiter did give us a free dessert .Will not be returning
Everything was amazing
Food was outstanding service outstanding. I wanted a special dinner out with my wife BUT I could not hear here from all the noise. Felt like a cafeteria.
When I spend premium dollars for a meal I expect a premium experience and I did not
Dinner at Wolfgang's is a special occasion treat. Some have said that the food is just as good if not better than Peter Luger's. It's definitely easier to get to and easier to get a reservation. As with all popular restaurants, you sacrifice the ambience/quiet for the wonderful food.
Ate outside. Great people watching and on Friday great vintage car watching. Very nice menu.Great service. Made a great Manhattan and Expresso Martini. And a special shout out to the manager, Milo, Very classy. Will return.
We get equally as good steaks in our home town of LAMBERTVILLE. The sides were disappointing, average. Overall too expensive for the quality.
Wolfgang's is a first class experience from the front door through dessert! We were welcoming colleagues to the US from Mexico. We wanted a special place that would provide a meal to remember. The chef and staff at Wolfgang's fully delivered. Everyone is always welcomed at the door with smile from the hostess. Once seated their attentive servers walk you through their wonderful menu.
We shared the the Dry Aged T-bone and a stuffed Lobster!! The t-bone dry aged flavor is the taste of any great steak in NYC and you don't have to drive! And if you're not a carnivore, I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Steak, seasoned with a little spice to provide just the right about of heat!
And for finishing, the Key Lime Pie is a refreshing treat at the end of a big meal!
The experience wouldn't be differentiated if it wasn't for the amazing staff the management team has put together. Every server knows their menu and chef and will make your experience ONE OF A KIND!
Wife’s Birthday and Father’s Day!
Best steak I have ever had.
Everything was wonderful.....noise level a little trying on the ear though. But good for you, a big crowd tends to be loud! It was nice to see a full house and the feeling of almost normal again! Stay safe!
The food and service was excellent!
Steak was overdone and tough. Not sure if it was this location or how their food has changed.
Service was Terrible!
Excellent service and the food was delicious! We will definitely go back.
