Best Barbecue Restaurants in Pleasant Prairie

Our experience at Blue Grass was extraordinary. The menu is extensive — if you can’t find something to enjoy, you’re being exceptionally picky. Both our meal and the service exceeded expectations. Wine and cocktails were competitively priced, and the food quality was excellent. I actually struggled to choose because everything sounded appealing. My wife ordered the Jambalaya, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dish delivered an explosion of flavors and textures, easily one of the most memorable plates I’ve ever tasted. I’m already looking forward to having it again. Blue Grass is truly a gem. It’s close to home, locally owned, and clearly has a loyal following. I highly recommend giving it a try; it will certainly become one of our regular spots. And do not leave without ordering the Bananas Foster — simple, elegant, and absolutely AMAZING. On a scale of 1–10, it’s a 26.

We enjoyed every aspect of Bub City in Rosemont. We were confused about the directions to get there, but we found it and we were so glad. The service was extraordinary, and the food was outstanding. It was a very quiet time of day on a Sunday afternoon, but the place was lively with a lot of people enjoying their meals outdoors and indoors, with a selection of choices we had no idea would be available. We will definitely return!
