Best Bistros in Lac-Brome

Consistently excellent! The food and service are well worth the travel (we live in another town) and price. We always order too much but appreciate the leftovers the next day. Get bread to go to take home with you.

It was our second time at Limousine. This time we were able to get a reservation last minute, but at the counter. That was fine. Beef tartare is one of the best I have eaten in Montreal. Each dish had something special, a taste of something that was delicious but it took a while to pinpoint what it was. It’s very noisy and even when the table behind us were being served, I could not hear my dining companion. We had to wait until they calm down to resume our conversation. But it’s part of the atmosphere. Both times I sat on the same of the restaurant and I will request the other side next time. I will go back, and often. Such a treasure to have a restaurant of this quality on the South Shore.

Le lac est tres jolie! Very scenic as one looks out at the water where from the patio you can see boaters, fishing, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, waterskis and swimmers. Idyllic setting as I thoroughly enjoyed the pogo du homard, a lobster tail "corndog" with a batter beyond de rigeur. My salade niçoise truly hit the spot and my server was kind enough to bring me some olive bread to sop up the remains on my plate. Moka cafe avec good vibes here beaucoup nonpariel. Light jazz flavored the experience. Do yourself a favor and see for yourself.
