We returned to Hawksmoor on our recent trip to Edinburgh and was delighted to find the wonderful experience still exists. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. If you want a wonderful steak dinner with amazing service we highly recommend Hawksmoor!

Brilliant and unique whiskey selection. Fantastic view and excellent and accommodating service. Food was good especially mussels and monk fish. The fillet of sole was seasoned well, but unfortunately full of pin bones. Overall a very nice experience outside of the sole.

We booked this for our last evening meal on our trip to Edinburgh and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent, presented beautifully and the flavours were stunning. The atmosphere was quiet and cosy, but with a fun vibe. The service was excellent too, very friendly, wait time for food and drinks was perfect. Overall this was a wonderful experience and a lovely way to end our trip in Edinburgh.

    Had a fantastic experience at The Ivy in yesterday with Julie. Everything was perfect from start to finish — the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome. We had a lovely time and couldn’t fault a thing. We’ll definitely be back! Gary.
