Best British Restaurants in Durrington

Lovely experience celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Excellent service and delicious food.

We had a lovely anniversary meal at the restaurant. The table wasn’t quite ready on arrival so we had drinks at the bar which was a nice place to sit. It was very busy, lots of groups of ladies having afternoon tea but it quietened down during the time we were there, the atmosphere was really nice. Our meals were delicious, and we were treated to a brownie at the end for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The most important part to us was that we didn’t feel rushed, we had a lovely few hours together and the staff were very attentive but not over the top.

A lovely pub/restaurant, very good service, menu plenty of choice. Only negative was the first course of trout which was very small, no more than three mouthfuls and a bit dry. The chateubriand for two was perfecly cooked and delightully rare while the broccoli was pleasantly crunchy. Could have done with a choice of chips to accompany rather than potato galette but othersie excellent and good value for money. A regular visitor.

The coffee is excellent and the croissants with cheese are wonderful. It’s very well run and the service provided by Agata was wonderful. It’s our favourite Côte.

Great food, friendly waiter and great service. Really enjoyed it! Will come again. Lovely pub too.
