Best British Restaurants in Yorkville

It was our first time at the Dorset. We found the service impeccable and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and was a perfect quantity. A hearty serving, but not too much. The only comment was the the huge Yorkie was a bit dry - but that is being a bit picky. My only mild complaint was that the music was slightly too loud. Otherwise, very comfortable seating and a cozy but chic ambiance. Would absolutely return!

We made an early dinner reservation before seeing a theatre performance. We were a group of 4 adults and our server was Loreal. She was outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. We really noticed how great she was at her job. Ambiance is great, location is excellent. The music was a tad loud for us. We tried a peanut butter espresso martini & a Seabreeze cocktail - both were delicious! All food was also great - tasty, hot and prepared correctly....the biscoff cheesecake we all shared for dessert was another highlight. We will return for sure & definitely recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent vibes. The Seagull is a perfect cocktail. Food was incredible- the chicory salad and the monkfish were a standout for me.

Had a great experience at Compton Ave. The ambiance was fantastic, but the service really stood out. Everyone we interacted with was professional, genuinely friendly, conversational, and incredibly accommodating. Even the booking process and handling changes was effortless and pleasant. Really well run place with a great team. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
