Excellent food with creative, flavorful seasoning We chose Redwood Bar & Kitchen because Chef Ivan Dorvil is a Chopped winner, and we were interested in trying his food. It definitely lived up to our expectations. We started with the ceviche and grilled octopus. The ceviche was very fresh with plenty of fish, and the octopus was especially delicious—tender, well grilled and full of flavor. For dinner, I had the whole fried branzino, which was beautifully filleted and lightly dusted before frying. My husband had the Jerk Chicken Penne, and we both loved our dishes. The chef’s use of spices was the highlight—interesting, flavorful and a little different from typical restaurant fare. I personally would have enjoyed a bit more heat, but that’s just a matter of taste. The seasoning and flavor combinations were excellent. The atmosphere was also enjoyable, with a colorful mural by local artists and live music that complemented the restaurant nicely. A very enjoyable dinner with creative food, great seasoning and a fun atmosphere. We would definitely return.

Hosted a birthday brunch with 4 friends and it was perfect. The service, food and atmosphere was beyond what I expected and we truly enjoyed the experience. The food was cooked to perfection. We had jumbo jerk shrimp, oxtail and grits, lobster bites and waffles, chicken and waffles and lobster tail. The Pink Lychee Martini is the best. We will definitely return to try more of the dishes and drinks on the menu.

We had a nice time the food was good. There was a happy hour special for specific meals before 9. We did order a bit and also some on regular menu. Food came out in a decent amount of time. Ordered dragon fruit drink. Which was nice but alittle too much dragon fruit and less juice, was chewing a lot more than I was able to drink. Parking was convenient and free. Security greet us at the door. No line or wait to get in. We found a decent section with couches that was well enough to fit 8 of us. Table was just a tad bit small to fit all of our food comfortably. But we had a great time and would definitely come back. I would recommend to anyone

I love the flat bread, great service also. the restaurant is always clean and prices are good, I really recommend this restaurant for a romantic date.
