The flatbreads - mine the truffle mushroom and my husband's the 3 meat - are a regular choice of ours for a Friday evening and were outstanding. Jeremy was our waiter and is always so welcoming, kind and helpful making our dining experience a special event on a Friday evening! The views and ambiance are the best in Alexandria!More infoJula's on the Potomac$$$$• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6

- CChaasadHouston •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food was AMAZING! My husband and I went for a lunch date and ordered the Mini Football Wings for the appetizer, half mambo sauce and half plain. They were cooked just right! I ordered a Wine, G. D. Vajra Moscato-Sweet and has me so hooked I’ve been looking everywhere to have some in my home! For the entrees, I ordered the Reuben with nothing modified. It was great and the Shoestring Fries tasted better than McDonalds’. My spouse ordered a burger-there was a $12 Burger special for lunch (on Mondays) so he created his own burger. It was HUGE! The portions were out of this world!! He also ordered a Sweet Tea and said “Now this some real sweet tea! Tastes like it came straight from the tea bag.” He told me he would like to come back to this restaurant because the vibes and music were great, ambience was appealing and warm/welcoming, and the service felt intimate (one on one even though there were other guests dining). Me personally, I thought the service could have been a bit more professional (we waited a while to have our order taken and waited a while to receive our card back after paying). Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone else dining in the La Plata/Waldorf/Southern Maryland area. Worth the price and worth the experience! Bring your appetite!More infoThe Charles$$$$• Contemporary American• La Plata•4.2
