Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Placerville

Nice evening with friends. Our server, Brook was "outstanding" she saw to our every need and was very friendly and efficient. Food was delish and as always, a good value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my friends had such an amazing time here for our homecoming dinner. We had Stephanie as our waitress and she was really nice and helpful. The food was really good, and overall, just made our special night that much better.

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary at Q1227 and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We started with the garlic cheese loaf in all its glory and the spicy sticky chicken wings. The wings weren’t really spicy, but they were packed with savory flavor. I had the Spicy Chicken Bucatini with breaded chicken, plus salmon and Chef Q’s greens. Everything was delicious. My wife had the oxtails over grits with a side of greens and loved her meal as well. As great as the food was, the service made the evening even more special. Our server, Christiana, was an absolute delight. I had mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our 22nd anniversary, and she welcomed us with a decorated table and congratulated us on being married “half our lives.” That meant a lot because “Half Our Lives” was actually the theme of our entire anniversary celebration. Jacob was helping her throughout the evening and made sure our glasses stayed full without us ever having to ask. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the atmosphere was warm, and even the people dining around us added to the experience. Great food, excellent service, and a genuinely memorable anniversary dinner. Thank you, Christiana, Jacob, Chef Q, and the Q1227 team for making our night special.

Our group had a great time; our server was excellent. The value was terrific. We’ll definitely come back.

Our large group brought the energetic noise to the patio. THANK YOU LAZY DOG ROSEVILLE for being such hospitable hosts to our sports team! From service, food, drinks, and the individualized checks by cap #, we really appreciated our entire experience!
