And any bites I’ve taken elsewhere could not hold a candle to it. But I read that this was supposed to be incredible. I was hesitant but the waiter said, I would not be disappointed. He then recommended the squid ink gnocchi as an appetizer and it was honestly one of the best things I’d eaten before a main course. So, my hopes were lifted for the lasagna and I have to say, this was phenomenal. It was cooked to perfection, firm, layered deliciousness. Had a little crunch on the edges and the béchamel cheese complemented the mozzarella. I thought I would miss the ricotta but did not—it was creamy and more flavorful. My wife ordered the branzino and swears it was the best she’s ever had. This has given me faith after 35 years living in the DMZ we found a truly incredible Italian restaurant that is every bit as good as our favorite restaurants in NYC. I can’t believe it’s not been on our radar but will be a destination for our celebration meals from now on. 5 stars. Don’t miss it. The portions are plentiful and are easily shareable. Prices are very fare, and they have a reasonable corkage fee with a decent selection of cocktails and wines. Service was also excellent.More infoFloriana$$$$• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.7

Keith was my server and was very personable. I've been a customer of Ted's for several years and they have multiple locations in the DMV with two inside the city.More infoTed's Bulletin - 14th Street$$$$• American• Logan Circle•4.7
- SSterlingGoldWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined on 27 Sept 2026I enjoyed dinner last night at Miss Toya (Silver Spring) a lot. This restaurant has always had good food, but the service has frequently been lackluster at best. Last night, the service experience rose to the level of the superb food. Our server was attentive and checked back frequently. I had the pork chops with macaroni and cheese and collard greens as my sides. Everything was delicious, although the greens could have been warmer. I'm looking forward to returning in the near future.More infoMiss Toya's Creole House - Silver Spring$$$$• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Silver Spring•4.3
