Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Midpines

Overall great ambiance, and they sang happy birthday with the piano player which was very special!!

Stopped by for a sunset hike and dinner on our way out of Yosemite. Our server Amanda was fantastic. If you are staying at the lodge, the dinner menu is extensive, so you could eat here and try something new on multiple occasions. All of the food we ordered (mini tacos, focaccia, chicken bacon flat bread, chicken soup, and brownie sundae—wish I could have tried the sold out salmon/shrimp cake) was so tasty and service was prompt. We would definitely return the next time we are in the area.

The restaurant is a true jewel, in the small quaint mountain town of Twain Harte. It is a small venue, but a true sophisticated dining experience. The service was amazing and were extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We were incredibly surprised with both the amazing menu, and wine offerings. The menu was a treat of local and fresh dishes that left you thinking and savoring flavors that each complimented the next. Chef is a true artist and the service and ambience simply perfect. We will without doubt be back. Menu is small, but a true culinary delight.
