Best English Restaurants in Monk Fryston

A fabulous venue, probably the best Sunday Roast in Harrogate, a great wine cellar at affordable price points for quality. We love the live music sets & really it’s the high standard of service that sets this place apart. The team are exceptional. We had a super afternoon. Highly recommend.

Great service, good food and a really cool, chilled atmosphere. Literally a hidden gem of that area. Would absolutely return!..

The only thing negative I can say about this place is the three flights of stairs to get in. The décor of the place is just lovely, really well put together. The staff are amazing, knowledgeable, helpful & caring and really attentive. Their efforts made the evening run so seamless and we were never without a drink or food for more than a minute or two, we felt very looked after. (Big thank you to you all). The main event though is the food. Just wow! honestly the food is cooked to perfection, the flavours are outstanding and the portions are perfectly balance. Nothing heavy all so lovely and light but by the end very filling. I would reckon this to everyone, whether a special occasion, treating yourself, or if you just want to top tier food and service. Get yourself booked in and enjoy the experience.

We had the charcuterie board to start which was really delicious. So much food! Really enjoyed the fish and chips, and my v fussy vegetarian friend said her halloumi burger was the best she had had. Thank you!
