We stayed at the hotel No. 11 on the last night of our trip and ate at the No. 11 restaurant. Restaurant was quiet and delightful for conversation. Tables were not crammed together. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. For me, the overall best dinner of our entire stay in Scotland.

We happened to dine here when our first choice was full. We are so glad to have been bumped to this dining establishment also located in the Apex Waterloo place hotel. Make this your first choice for fine dining in Edinburgh. I happen to love fresh mussels cooked in a cream, butter, garlic sauce. I asked about the portions as I’ve been dissatisfied with both the quantity and quality of the dish in previous restaurants. Our server was a Ukrainian girl. She described the dish in detail. Upon arrival it was everything as described. Approximately 80 mussels in total. My party of four was overwhelmed by the quality of each dish. I cannot rate this establishment higher.

The restaurant was great. They did not have our reservation through Open Table however, and had to accommodate us. I had my confirmation on my phone. They were great at finding us a table and we had a great meal.

Delicious fresh and tasty food. First time dining here and it will not be the last. Flavours were on point, presentation is great, and portion sizes were generous. The staff were very attentive and eager to assist. The bar is well stocked, cocktails were lush! Recommend.

Very welcoming staff. Recognised it was my husbands birthday by offering him a complimentary drink. Nice choice of food and of a good standard. Staff always checking up and offering drinks. Very pleased we ate there.
