We were not disappointed. First off, you can't go wrong with the setting; it's right on the marina, the building itself is spacious, great architecture, etc. The wait staff was fabulous. The food was excellent! We chose to have the caesar salad as the first course, I had the plank Halibut which was cooked perfectly, not too dry, almost buttery for that matter, the sauce was also excellent, not too salty, just the right amount, accompanied by a side of green beans and browned corn. Lovely. And finally, the cake and ice cream were the perfect final course. My husband had the Halibut fish & chips which he thought was excellent too. Did let restaurant know it was my husbands birthday and usually dessert is on Hearthfire… not this time. Our server Nate was exceptional and truly made us feel well taken care of. We dined ‘alla famiglia’ and all of the dishes were delicious and well-balanced across the meal. Our top three were definitely the Northern Gold striploin, elk tartare, and the canestri with pork cheek.
