We had a group of 5 and everyone loved their menu choices. The sesame focaccia bread was amazing, never had a bread like this. I want to go back just to eat this bread all night! We also had the beet salad, shrimp tartine, cavatelli, blackened swordfish -- all were delicious. For dessert we had lemon creme brulee, peanut butter and jelly chocolate mousse and a banana bread pudding. Again, all were amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly and efficient. For alcoholic beverages, I believe they only had wine and beer (maybe champagne?), but no cocktails. That was fine for us. The only negative was that the sign was not lit up at night so I drove past once before I realized I was at the right place. It had been a couple of years since we last dined at Local Bistro, so seeing some new items on the menu was a nice surprise. We had the filet, salmon, and chicken parm à la vodka. The parm was a recent addition to the menu, and it's a showstopper. One of the best I've had. Hopefully, management will make it a permanent addition. Service was great as well. Only negative was the price of a glass of wine - their Fall pricing is significantly higher than what their July 2026 menu shows online. Really an unforced error in this regard. We are so happy we went. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The sauces, the food expertly prepared. The hosts (owners) so warm and friendly. The duck and liver dishes were both really interesting, and my paleo meatloaf dish was the best meatloaf I've ever had! Service was genuine and great, and it was really nice that the chef paid the table a visit.
