- MMelanieHertfordshire •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoGreat place for a lunch catch-up - a few other tables of diners but noise levels of chatter not overpowering compared to some venues where conversations from other tables spill over and make it hard to hear yourself think! Lovely staff who didn’t mind waiting for us to take our time to select our drinks and meals. Interesting menu selection - makes a return visit very appealing.More infoThe Fox at Willian££££• Gastro Pub• Letchworth•4.2
- JJACKIECambridge/Cambridgeshire •35 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDelightful mid-week dinner. Great service, friendly, warm and welcoming. Delicious food and lovely flavours - thought the autumn menu was good - may be another fish main for us fish lovers rather than just the Stone Bass? Having said that my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my carrot side was heavenly. Wide wine selection but not too extensive and something for everyone. Very lucky that this pub/restaurant is just down the road. Thanks again Fox and Hound team!More infoFox & Hounds Barley££££• British• Barley•4.8
- DDavidHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoA gem in the countryside! I was looking for somewhere new to take my wife for a birthday lunch. This venue came up in my search and it looked fab… and it turned out to be exactly that. Great food… some of the usual suspects but lots of new ideas too, including sesame boa buns, cauliflower steak and chicken schnitzel. All delicious and different. Great service… the staff were attentive, smiley and knowledgeable. Great venue… nicely kitted out with interesting planting in the beer garden, a kids play area and views to sheep filled fields.More infoThe Sword Inn Hand££££• Gastro Pub• Buntingford•4.8

My choice of the Anchor proved universally popular and I would not hesitate to recommend it to all and sundry. Great food and atmosphere and reasonable prices.
