Happy Hour outside was a delightful experience. Top notch food and service.

We started with two appetizers, and the drumsticks were absolutely to die for! The hummus dip with cauliflower was also excellent, and I really appreciated that the restaurant had several gluten-free options. For our main course, we shared the large chimichurri steak. It was much bigger than we expected and came with plenty of potatoes on the side. Everything we tried was unique, flavorful, and delicious. As good as the food was, the service was even better. I completely forgot our waitress’s name, which I feel terrible about because she was exceptional. She actually recommended that we order what we had selected first and then see how hungry we were before adding anything else. I really appreciated that she wasn't just trying to upsell us or increase the bill—she genuinely wanted us to have a great experience without ordering more food than we needed. The drinks were good, although they weren't the standout part of the experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and fun, although it can get a little loud, so it might not be my first choice for a quiet first date. Otherwise, great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service. We would definitely go back!

Great experience at Tap 42! The guacamole was the highlight, and the vodka pasta with chicken Parmesan, street corn, and mocktail were all excellent. Great happy hour options, too. The food took a little longer than expected, but we came right at 5 PM in middle of happy hour so we understood. Our server Amber and manager Clyde were attentive and handled it professionally. Excellent service overall. Definitely coming back for the $5 Monday burgers!

Great food and great service. Perfect place to eat before a show at War Memorial.

It is always a nice experience here. Beer is great. We wanted a nice environment to enjoy a beer and we had exactly that here.
