We had a warm welcome and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent quality and three of us had the duck which was very tasty. One person had mash potato which was a bit lumpy, but otherwise no issues. The portions were quite generous and the deserts very tasty. The pub was very busy with drinkers at the bar, which made it very noisy, but we were assured this was not normal. Certainly our previous visit was much quieter!
