Best Gastro Pubs in Wirral

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS FOR THE NEW FERRY! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went back to The New Ferry again today on seacombe ferry, and once again, we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. 😋 We ordered 2 beef roast dinners, which were cooked beautifully and came with just the right amount of tender beef, fresh vegetables, lovely gravy, crispy roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding. Absolutely gorgeous! 👌🏼 We also had 3 starters — garlic breaded mushrooms with dip, and chilli cheese bites with king prawns and dip. Everything was so tasty and fresh. The lads had 2 cheese and bacon burgers, which they really enjoyed, and to finish we ordered 2 raspberry Jammy Dodger cheesecakes, which came with a shot of raspberry liqueur. 🍰❤️ We also had a pint of beer and a double AU Blue Raspberry vodka with lemonade — and the grand total for everything was £84.35! 😲👏🏼 I’ll say it again — this new lad who owns The New Ferry has definitely turned this pub around, and I honestly think he is going to do really well. The place definitely needed saving, and it really does look like you have saved it! 🙌🏼 Keep up the fantastic work because you are definitely doing something right. The food, portions and value for money are brilliant, and it’s lovely to see the pub looking busy and welcoming again. ❤️ We also saw a gammon dinner being brought out to another customer and it looked absolutely delicious, so we’ll definitely be calling back through the week to try that! 😋 Keep up the great work — you’ve definitely got another regular customer in us! 😊👏🏼 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
