We were sat immediately and a server came over to us to get our drink and food order. We were given our garlic bread and drinks quickly and then the food came right away. We were served by a man and a woman. Both of them were really attentive and friendly. We got our food order quickly as well. We both ordered steaks which were done exactly how we asked and was delicious. There were loads and loads of frites (fries) with the steak and it was also served with salad. After we finished eating we were brought our desert which was profiteroles. They were absolutely lovely. Overall we were extremely pleased with the food, the service and the value of €29.95 for all that gorgeous food. I enjoyed the Cashel cheese, spinach and mushroom boxty, while my colleague had the fish and chips with white fish 90%, crispy batter 10%, mushy peas and chips. Our manager chose the Irish beef stew with sides of colcannon potatoes, string beans with fresh soft cheese. Every dish was excellent, full of flavour, beautifully prepared and a real treat. As someone looking for gluten-free options, I was particularly impressed by the variety available and the care taken with the food. The house beer was also delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the service. The team was incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly from start to finish. It was genuinely a pleasure to be served by such warm and hospitable staff. Excellent food, great gluten-free options, wonderful drinks and outstanding service.
