Our beach day might have been ruined by the weather but our lunch here at Alpemere was excellent. It wasn't crowded which was great. The service was fantastic and all had a big smile. The drinks were fantastic and the food was fabulous. My wife had turbo fillet and I have pasta with clams which was so rich and creamy. The starter "cracker" with cheese and truffle was fantastic. Desert was good too. We will be back on a sunnier day one day soon.

We booked this as a last night treat for our golden wedding anniversary. Stunning roof top location - unfortunately we were not aware that the hotel was having a very large function so the hotel lobby was very busy and noisy. However the rooftop restaurant was away from this - beautiful location with super food and fabulous service - well worth the price. Only comment I would say is they have an open barbecue cooking the meat which made it a bit smoky and smelly. The reception staff were great in helping us get a taxi home .
