Best Italian Restaurants in River North

Second time in Denver, second time at Venice! Last year, I had the most wonderful experience so when my partner and I decided to come here to Denver for our anniversary, I knew where we had to go for dinner. Our server, Logan, took great care of us and thoughtfully coursed out each part of our meal. Every bite and sip was perfection! We sat at a high top in the bar area and the energy was lively but we could still easily hear one another at our table. 10/10, no notes!

Absolutely delicious - so good, I’m already planning my next visit. We had the bucatini and cacio & pepe. Both were incredible and just as good as the pasta we had in Rome. They also have a Sarti spritz 💕

Great experience! The food was wonderful (get the tomato salad) and our food attendant was fantastic! Loved the train windows.

Jovanina's is such a treasure! I have 0 complaints! Most other restaurants I've done to in Denver either under season or over season their food. Not Jovanina's! All of the flavors were balanced so well. Complex, rich, without being over powering! We had the Hamachi Crudo and Beef Carpaccio to start, split the Lobster pasta dish, and finished with the BEST desserts I've had! The olive oil cake and the cannoli are MUST trys. Amazing service, intimate and romantic ambience, amazing food. We hope to be back!

The service at Tavernetta Denver was superb!! We had at least six different wait staff provide service to our table and the owner stopped by twice to assure that everything was top quality. The food was excellent, presentation was wonderful and portions were appropriate. We will definitely come back, and also recommend Tavernetta to friends!!
