My granddaughter’s 13th birthday was superb thanks to wonderful food and very attentive staff. Staff carrying in her cake and singing Happy Birthday was just a great final touch. The experience of our youngest member of the party at 15 months was also great as the wee dishes brought to him kept him amused for ages. Thank you to lively staff.

Fantastic service at Wagamama Glasgow Central last week. Exceptional care taken when placing our daughter’s gluten free choices due to her having coeliac disease. It was explained to us that a manager must take allergy orders. Every care seemed to be taken to ensure her safety. Very pleased with the amount of choice she had. Even her drink was brought separately to the rest of the table.. All staff we dealt with were really friendly, polite and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We’d never visited a Wagamama before but we can’t wait to return the next time we visit Glasgow. Could not rate our experience highly enough from fabulous staff, wonderful food and fun and lively surroundings. 10/10.

really lovely food and very helpful and attentive service. The app is good for gaining rewards and paying the bill. the restaurant itself was very quiet maybe because it was a sunday night so not much atmosphere. enjoyed all our dishes

This menu it completely imaginative and so comforting also friendly for any diet so double bonus there!"

The best Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh. I love Japanese food and have been in Japan twice. I have also been in many other Japanese restaurants. Yamato is truly excellent! We've been there a few times now, and the staff remember us too, they gave us the perfect table and even brought me a mochi with a cute candle for my birthday. They've also added seasonal plates and specials. The oyster were worthy of Matsushima (though smaller), and the lobster tempura was sensational! We'll definitely go back again at the first occasion!

An extensive and varied menu of Japanese food. Our party chose two different types of rice bowl along with curries and all were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

    The best Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh. I love Japanese food and have been in Japan twice. I have also been in many other Japanese restaurants. Yamato is truly excellent!
