We’ve been loyal fans of Kyo for over ten years, and even though we’re based in Toronto, we make it a point to dine here every time we visit our daughter in Montreal. This past weekend was no exception, and once again, Kyo delivered an exceptional experience. William was our server and took such thoughtful care with our preferences. My daughter is vegan and I have allergies to garlic, which can make dining out a challenge, yet William was calm, kind, and incredibly attentive. At one point, while discussing our needs with the chef in clear view, the chef himself came over to our table. Chef Arild not only reassured us that he could accommodate our requests, but expressed a genuine desire to exceed our expectations. He even gave us his card and encouraged us to reach out a few days before our next visit so he could prepare something special for us. On a busy Saturday night, both Chef Arild and William went above and beyond, and we are truly grateful for the care and attention they showed us. This was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we will absolutely be back.

Excellent experience at Park. The sushi was outstanding: impeccably fresh fish, precise cuts and well-balanced rice, clearly prepared with real skill and care. Service matched the food: attentive, friendly and well-timed, with staff who knew the menu and made helpful suggestions without ever being intrusive. A top spot for quality sushi in Montreal. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back.

We were in town for a concert and booked this sushi spot based on proximity to our hotel, I did not expect to be blown away. Quality of the fish was so fresh. Flavours amazing and the experience here exceeded all expectations. Great ambiance and service. I'd come back every time I'm in Montreal. Locals you have a gem available to you!

I went there for my birthday dinner. Everything was phenomenal, the food, the drinks, our waiter was great, ambiance was nice, beautiful spot. The only unfortunate thing was that we overheard a manager yelling at his staff and snapping his fingers at them on the dining area. I didn’t find this very respectful to his team and shows poor leadership in my opinion. Aside from that zero complaints !

We had a wonderful experience at Le Filet. We sat at the bar on a moderately busy Wednesday night, which I'd highly suggest, since it gives you a great view into the open kitchen. Our server, Steven, was extremely helpful and attentive all evening. To start, I'd highly recommend the tuna tartare. We also had the kampachi and the oysters three ways. The plain oysters weren't much to write home about, but the jalapeño/maple chip and the miso gratin were excellent. The miso gratin in particular was a totally unique preparation and a very pleasant surprise. For mains, we had the pork loin and scallops, a delicious and unique take on surf and turf. I usually shy away from pork when eating out, and this one still stood out. The seafood linguine with fried onions was outstanding. For dessert, you can't miss the maple square. All in all, the hospitality and the quality of the food at Le Filet were world class. It's easy to see why this place has been around for 15+ years, and I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Montreal.
