After skipping the Times Square location this summer, it felt amazing returning to my absolute favorite spot. I’ve been a regular here since 2010 when Joji, Aon, and Jenny were here! 🕒✨
👑 Table 16 & Flawless Service
Sat at my favorite Table 16 for lunch today. The host was incredibly welcoming, and our waiter, Jack, was completely on point! He introduced the menu, recommended cocktails, and kept water filled. Food timing was seamless—a high level of service culture we haven't seen at Gyu-Kaku in a long time! 🍽️🔥
🏙️ Hidden Gem & Epic Flavors
Tucked away on the 2nd floor, it's a cozy escape for regulars and corporate office crowds. The food was delicious. The Miso Bistro Hanger Steak has been my favorite for 17 years! Paired perfectly with Garlic Fried Rice in the hot stone and miso soup. 🍚🥩
🧹 Small Note
The men’s room and wheelchair restroom look old and need deep cleaning (especially the hand dryer bottom). A light polish would make this place shiny again to match Jack’s 5-star service! 🙌
