Taki Omakase is not simply a restaurant, it’s an experience.
From the moment you walk through the door, you immediately realize that this is something different. The intimate atmosphere, attention to detail, hospitality, and craftsmanship behind every course create an experience that feels incredibly intentional from beginning to end.
The food was phenomenal. Each course felt like its own story, with exceptional ingredients, beautiful presentation, and techniques that allowed the quality of the fish to truly speak for itself. You can taste the precision and patience that goes into the preparation. Every bite was thoughtfully balanced, and the progression of the meal kept getting better.
What really stood out to me, however, was the level of care. The interaction with the chef, the explanation behind the dishes, the pacing, and the attention from the entire team made the evening feel personal rather than simply transactional.
I’ve had sushi at some very highly regarded restaurants, and Taki Omakase absolutely deserves to be mentioned among the experiences that make you appreciate sushi as an art form.
