Best Modern European Restaurants in Mariendorf

An elevated experience in vegetarian dining. One of the themes of Horvath is the emancipation of vegetables as fine dining dish and with each course of the Horvath Experience (tasting menu) you can not only see the tremendous technical skill but also the thought put into each dish. "Longing for the sea 2.0" and "Celeriac ripe and young" stood out for me along with their signature dish "F&*k Caviar". The service was well timed and every dish was explained in detail with a cordial, collegial tone.

First time in Berlin and I was solo. This place was recommended to me and it couldn't have been a better spot. The staff, the food, the ambience. And the staff gave me wonderful recommendations for the next day, Café am Neuen See. Had the best time in the park. Will be telling everyone I know how goes to Berlin to make a reservation.

A truly high-end dining experience, in a neighbourhood of Berlin (Lichterfelde) that mostly has somewhat dull family Italian, Thai or traditional German restaurants. As we'd not visited before, our charming server showed us into the "original" part of the womens' prison - now an artists' community. Then onto the garden - very quiet and peaceful. The food is excellent, based on very good ingredients, thoughtful flavour combinations and beautiful presentation. Superb service, from a very knowledgeable server, in both english and german. A really excellent evening - thank you.

Delicious food with friendly service. The outside terrace was an extra treat.
