Best Oyster Bars in Old Town Alexandria

Crab dip was absolutely phenomenal, and the rainbow trout may have been one of the most beautifully curated dishes I've ever had the pleasure of consuming! Also, dirty martinis are 10/10 🍸

Best place to have a lovely lunch on a beautiful fall day. On the water! Great local oysters (and the server was knowledgeable about the offerings) at happy hour prices all afternoon. We also had the shrimp po boy and the fish sandwich which were right size (some might say smallish but enough for me!). Cocktails were creative and refreshing and the sun reflecting off the river as we sat outside (covered) was perfect.

My niece (visiting from out of town) and I had a great dinner at Old Ebbitt Grill on Thursday evening, Oct. 1. We both knew what we wanted as the main course (the crab cake, French fries and cole slaw), but our server Qili made recommendations for drinks, an appetizer and dessert. And they were all great -- especially the Bourbon-chocolate chip bread pudding, which was sublime. Just to add -- Qili herself made the meal so enjoyable. She was helpful, she kept a close eye on how we were progressing -- and she was funny and fun. Really made the meal an enjoyable occasion.

 we had a wonderful dinner with Cory as our bartender. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and we had an absolute great time with the staff and other patrons. The food was absolutely amazing and the prices were very reasonable.
