Best Pizzerias in Sayreville

We've dined at Sette many times. It's a nice local BYOB with good Italian food. Yesterday we opened with the Italian Egg Rolls. It consisted of 2 large egg rolls served over a tomato pesto sauce. The sauce was tasty, and the egg roll wrappers were crunchy, with no hint of greasiness. The filling was disappointing. It was supposed to contain chopped sun-dried tomatoes. broccoli rabe, and sausage mixed with parmesan risotto. There was a hint of tomato and broccoli, but you could barely detect them or the sausage. You were left with a risotto filled egg roll which was disappointing. Our entrees were very good. My wife had the Spaghetti and Clams in a tomato sauce and I had the Braised Short Ribs. Both were very tasty and the portions were ample.

Food and Service were fabulous. The owner and his fiancé were beyond welcoming. Wonderful evening. Will definitely return.

One of our favorite restaurants in the NYC metro area. The pizza is creative and dough is exceptional, but the rest of the food is also fresh and amazing. Don't skip the butter tasting.
