This was our anniversary dinner night. Over the decades, we have dined here many times on our anniversary and on other special occasions.
Service: The service staff and kitchen gave us a memorable occasion. One of us is now on a medically required "low residue diet". Jason, our waiter, the kitchen personnel and the floor manager all extended themselves to accommodate our need. So, the service was outstanding.
Food: Large choice of meals cooked to our taste. The side dishes are special. When we want a fine dining meal, this is where we go.
Decor: We enjoy the traditional ambiance of the Katy Perry's. There are other upscale restaurants in the Katy/Richmond/Sugarland area that we have eaten at and enjoyed the food. But, often we do not care for the decor. In modern decor restaurants, the decor amplifies the noise. To attract the young crowd, we suppose. But, for our tastes, we prefer a more appealing, quit, and "rich" decor like we find at Perry's in Katy.
We started eating at Perry's Meat Market off of Scarsdale in Pearland in the last century. So, yes we like the place and have ever since we ate at a few tables in a meat market in the 1990's. Talk about taking a leap...the family moved their business from a meat market with a few tables to multiple fine dining establishments. We respect and admire them.
