This is the best pub in Granchester! Very friendly, relaxed, helpful service and warm, welcoming hospitality. We enjoyed the steak and chips and the chicken skewers, padron peppers and haloumi from the grill. Huge garden next to the grill with lots of tables and it wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday in October. Excellent lunch out!

My family went to the Thornhill Arms for Sunday lunch. We all agreed it was the best meal we had eaten out in a long time. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The dining times were staggered so the dining room wasnt heaving and noisy. The food was absolutely delicious, meat was cooked to perfection and the veg was plentiful and very fresh. Our favourite was the cauliflower cheese just gorgeous. We honestly cant wait to go again.
