The dosa were very good, we had a traditional masala one and a hotter one, beautiful flavours, we shared two between four of us as a starter. The thali are great value, and give you the chance to try different dishes, all very tasty

We love the Mattancherry, and this visit did not disappoint. We brought along 3 family members for the first time and they were completely bowled over by the flavours and South Indian dishes on offer which are quite different from many other restaurants. We had a range of veg and non veg starter: all very tasty, followed by veg and non veg thalis, a saag paneer and an extraordinary aubergine dish which I’ve earmarked for next time. Service was excellent as usual with lots of advice when requested. We love that they won’t let you over-order. Prices are very reasonable. The best Indian restaurant in South East Wales if our opinion.
