Wonderful food and service, such a lovely and calm place to eat in Downtown LA. It's very peaceful eating outside. Inside is quite loud, but didn't impact us since we got a table outside. Great drinks, interesting menu, and very nice people working there!

Food was absolutely delicious, and the fish was incredibly fresh! 🐟 We had the sashimi, seaweed salad, chicken slaw, and a fish plate with broccolini and a side of mushrooms. Every dish was packed with amazing flavor, but the sauces were definitely the highlight! 🤤 Located right next door to the NOVO Theater, which is super convenient when attending a show. Such a great spot for dinner before a night out! Totally recommend Katsuya, we will definitely be returning! ❤️🍽️

What a great restaurant! My friend and I both got the $98 fixed price dinner which was several courses of perfection. We especially loved the black cod and the pork belly tacos but everything was delicious. The price includes sakes and wines with each course or, for those like my friend who don’t drink, interesting tea blends. Dessert was sake chocolate cake. We were stuffed at the end. Outstanding service as well, with explanations of all courses and how they are prepared. We can’t wait to go back!
