The restaurant provides an intimate experience, perfect for celebrating special occasions. Sitting at the counter offers the opportunities to converse with the chef and get a better understanding of his styles and techniques. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh; unlike other tempuras, you get the true taste of the ingredients and not the thick batter coating. If you are a fan of uni, I would highly recommend the addition. Even though the portions seem small, by the time you finish, you will be extremely satiated.

I love this restaurant and have been going for years. Everything is good. One thing is seating. I think that given we are older it's important not to seat a large table of noisy guests right next to us given the fact the restaurant was really quite empty. I know restaurants like to seat people all in one area to keep it looking busy but the noise factor then becomes an issue. Just more discretion please on who is seated where. otherwise very happy.
