My husband and I have been Denver residents for about 9 years now and thoroughly enjoying exploring new foods and restaurants. We even rented out our fav restaurant (up until now) for our wedding last year because we wanted great food. I have been wanting and waiting to have an excuse to go to Black Cat and I just wish I hadn’t waited now! I don’t have enough good things to say about it. I will caveat that this is not your everyday dinner- it is expensive, but well worth it for what you get out of it (experience, food, and service wise). The grounds are beautiful and we gave ourselves enough time to explore and meet the farm animals. The sun was hitting the hills around us while we were shown to our private mini greenhouse where we ate dinner. Once the sun had finally dipped, they turned on a wood burning fireplace to keep us cozy. I could go on forever about the ambience and aura the farm has but the true star is, of course, the food. It is so incredibly fresh and vibrant, I loved how truly seasonal it was. My husband is a vegetarian and I am a vegan and they seamlessly accommodated the menu in a way that didn’t feel like we got just the sides or salads that everyone else got. The sauces were all homemade, the spices were unique, the presentation was beautiful. Great wine selection to pick from beforehand. The service was awesome as well! Truly best meal in Colorado we’ve ever had.
