- CCatherineGoldNew York City •95 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Sept 2026Had a wonderful lunch at Il Colosseo with a friend of mine. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional!! From the minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome. My friend gave me a birthday card and when the waiter noticed he asked when my birthday was, I told him it was a few days prior and after already eaten our desserts, the waiter brought a gelato with a candle in it and they sang happy birthday to me. That was such kind thing to do!! We shared a pizza and salad as our meal and I had the pistachio cake and gelato while my friend had the chocolate cake and gelato for dessert. Everything was wonderful!! I would highly recommend Il Colosseo, you can't go wrong!!More infoIl Colosseo Restaurant And Pizzeria$$$$• Italian• Bensonhurst•4.9
