We had a nice evening at the Shard. The views were amazing and food was equally amazing, however we hand a server that was not giving us the same attention as other tables. We raised this to management and they gave us a credit so in the end it was handled well. We would definitely return as the food and view were exceptional

Expectations when eating at a Michelin stared restaurant are obviously high so it’s easy to be disappointed with food that is just good or perhaps even better than ok. The experience was so good from the welcome to the time taken by a team of dedicated staff that engaged in conversation with a generous sense of the art of hospitality to the food itself. Don’t expect to leave stuffed full but expect to leave happy , content that the expense was worth it and the food was memorable. One thing I would recommend is to order bread with each course in order to mop up the gorgeous sauces to avoid the temptation of licking the plate. A special mention to the sommelier who was a joy in her cheerfully informative approach to the wines and engaging conversation! I could wax lyrical about each course but that in the end would add little to an experience that in the end really was just a bloody joy!
