Ambiance was good on welcoming. I think I niece bit of classical music on very low would help with the first diners as just me and my partner was sat in the large very quiet room. The staff were extremely welcoming. Very respectful and knowledgeable. The young lady issuing the wine was extremely knowledgeable on what she was serving. The taster menu was exquisite. Presentation was spot on and again the staff knew exactly what they were serving you and the story behind the inspiration. Overall an absolutely fantastic evening highly recommended.

We went to the royal oak for our 5 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. It's definitely worth going for the tasting menu as every course is excellent! I had a food intolerance and they were easily able to substitute another dish in. We would definitely recommend it!
