We had a wonderful dinner at LeMont on Saturday night. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt like a classic night out in Pittsburgh. We started with cocktails—an Old Fashioned for me and a blackberry mojito for my wife. I had the shrimp cocktail, which was definitely above average, followed by the chopped salad, which was very, very good. My wife started with a cup of soup and a salad. For dinner, I decided to try something a little different and ordered the Australian venison chops. Outstanding! Easily the highlight of my meal and something I would absolutely order again. My wife had the lobster risotto, which was also excellent. We had a great table next to the window with that incredible Pittsburgh view, and a really nice surprise was the live music. It added a lot to the atmosphere without overwhelming dinner or conversation. Our server, Beth, was terrific—friendly, attentive, and professional—and the same could be said for everyone we encountered. That level of service throughout an entire restaurant isn’t something you see everywhere anymore. I also appreciated the atmosphere. The restaurant felt upscale without being stuffy, and the guests were well dressed, which added to the feeling that you were actually out for a special evening. One last nice touch: valet parking was only $9, which is pretty reasonable for a restaurant with this location and view. Great food, excellent service, live music, a beautiful view, and a classic Pittsburgh atmosphere. LeMont delivered exactly the kind of Saturday night dinner we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be back.

Manager Michael Houston, Chef Kay, Ian and the service staff were outstanding as always. They provided a wonderful birthday dinner and experience for my wife. From the oysters and shrimp cocktail, to the Chilean Sea Bass and scallops the food was wonderful. Don’t forget the spicy tuna on crispy rice also!
