Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Amherstburg

Second time trying the tasting menu with wine flight and it was just as excellent as our first time. Flavors were great, wine was paired perfectly, and portions were more than enough.

My wife and I travel extensively across the country for business and I rarely take the time to write reviews; however, Joe Muer Seafood stood out among the thousands of restaurants we have visited. On our first night in Detroit, we tried Joe Muer Seafood because it was conveniently located in the hotel and had an extensive wine list with many of our favorite bottles. We were immediately impressed by the service provided by Asia. She had such a pleasant personality and made us feel instantly welcome. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful in making our selections. The our meals were prepared to perfection and we enjoyed or dinner with a wonderful sunset over the Detroit River. We were so impressed, we returned for lunch a few days later with a colleague. We were again impressed the the service provided by Bridget and her knowledge of wine. We enjoyed discussing our favorite vineyards with her and learning about some new wines she let us sample. Again the food and service was exceptional, so much so we decided to return on our last night in Detroit to close out our trip with another memorable dining experience. On our last night we were seated with Laura who again provided exceptional service. She recommended the rack of lamb which was prepared precisely to my specifications and was some of the best lamb I have had in as long as I can remember. My wife’s fillet was equally prepared to perfection. If your travels find you in Detroit, I highly recommend Joe Muer Seafood… exceptional service, food prepared to perfection, an extensive wine list, and great views of the Detroit River and Windsor Canada. We look forward to returning to Detroit and Joe Muer Seafood!

Amazing experience. From greeter @ door, immediate attention, seated quickly, friendly faces, informed servers and staff. But the food was the most impressive. Cooked to our taste, steak n lamb chops, perfect. Our wedding anniversary will forever be remembered as one of the "Sexiest"! We will be back.

I came to celebrate my pre birthday, i absolutely loved it everything i loved it i have to come back to get that salmon before i leave omg it was so good.
