We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at J’s, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! I had the scallops with a Portuguese twist, and my husband had the tikka masala. Every bite was absolutely delicious. This chef has an incredible talent for bringing together flavors in ways you wouldn’t necessarily expect, yet somehow making every combination work beautifully. It’s clear that there are no limits to this chef’s creativity! The atmosphere is classic New England—elegant, warm, and inviting. The staff was exceptional: attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented without ever being intrusive. J’s deserves far more than five stars! What a wonderful place to celebrate such a special milestone. We couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary dinner.

This was only the second time I met my friend at 1761. We both love the surrounding landscape with the water, mallards and geese. We’ve enjoyed feeding them on our way out, as well as taking a few photos. The service has proven to be friendly and attentive. My apology for not knowing her name. Their basket of warm fritters and pecan rolls served with butter and maple syrup is not to be missed! We ordered plain, extra crispy calamari, which arrived perfectly hot, crispy and absolutely delicious. Though my broiled scallops had a bit more butter than I prefer, they were succulent. I would just request less butter/oil in the future. Our desserts of cheesecake and chocolate lava cake were tasted, then boxed to take home! We definitely look forward to our next visit.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family at El Basha. I was looking for a restaurant with delicious and healthy food which this Mediterranean restaurant definitely had. The restaurant is beautifully decorated , clean, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I was even surprised with a birthday dessert. We will be back!

Waitstaff was, as always, delightful -- we were there at a very quiet time and she made sure we had everything we needed while not hovering or rushing us so we could enjoy a long, relaxing time together.
